WOODRIDGE, IL, March 21, 2022 – Industry-leading warehouse automation systems integrator and software provider Numina Group announced today that its founder and CEO, Dan Hanrahan, will present an educational workshop at the DC Velocity Robotics Forum being held at Modex 2022.
His presentation will take place on Wednesday, March 30, 10:45 am – DC Velocity’s Booth B6410. Attendance is free for Modex participants.
Hanrahan, an industry-recognized industrial engineering and technology expert with more than 35 years of experience in the warehouse automation industry, will share insights into the rapidly growing use of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in warehouse operations and factors to consider in AMR selection.
“The application of AMRs and robotic-based goods-to-person (G2P) available today for warehouse applications is booming, with many new manufacturers and models now available for consideration,” said Hanrahan. “As an independent systems integrator, we are fortunate to review, compare and implement many models. With this presentation, it’s my goal to help companies better understand their options.”
Hanrahan’s presentation will focus on the benefits of deploying AMRs in combination with voice-directed picking to streamline goods-to-person picking and storage applications. He will also compare and contrast the benefits of various warehouse robots in the latest G2P solutions for automating picking and storage available for distribution operations.
Additionally, attendees are encouraged to visit Numina Group’s Booth B1813 to see live demonstrations of AMRs, combined with its latest pick-by-voice solution and other warehouse automation solutions. To learn more, contact Jen Maloney at jmaloney@numinagroup.com.
