As order volume surged from hundreds to tens of thousands per day, Green Rabbit’s paper-based picking and packing process couldn’t keep up. To maintain service levels and meet new eCommerce contracts, Green Rabbit needed a scalable automation strategy.
After a detailed engineering study, Green Rabbit partnered with Numina Group to implement RDS™ Warehouse Execution and Control Software (WES/WCS) with integrated Voice Directed Picking and Pack & Ship Automation. The system automates order release, cartonization, picking, packing, labeling, and shipping verification—creating a paperless, high-speed fulfillment process. The solution went live at their Indianapolis distribution center in just 12 weeks, with subsequent rollouts at additional facilities nationwide.
