Project Manager

Numina Group is a fast-growing company located in Woodridge, IL, that specializes in designing and implementing warehouse automation systems. We are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for project execution success.

Domain expertise in Numina’s products and services

Domain expertise in OEM products used by Numina’s such as Barcode/Camera scanners, Print and Apply systems, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and the like.

Duties

Manage multiple projects to meet Scope, Timelines and Budget deliverables
Effective communication skills across cross-functional teams
Creates Project Plans and Schedules to ensure on-time project completion
Manages internal resources, suppliers, and customers
Provides high level oversight of project design, controls and process specifications to ensure alignment with project scope and customer requirements
Creates Unit Acceptance (UAT) and End to End (E2E) Testing plans to ensure projects meet deliverables and performance requirements
Oversight of installation and commissioning (can be both directly and indirectly with installation managers)
Executes and/or oversees the UAT and E2E testing processes with corrective action plans as required
Manage project drawings and documentation from As-Built changes, ensuring changes are incorporated into accurate final project documents in a timely manner
Coordinates and performs customer training and startup support
Completes project closure in a timely manner (formal acceptance signoff and closure of system punch lists)
Maintains customer relationship management for projects as the main point of contact for initial system go live (typically first 90 days).

Skills/Qualifications

BS/BA; Preferred but not required in engineering – Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial
PMI certification a plus
Logistics and Supply Chain certifications a plus
AutoCAD experience required
Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office Suite required
Experience in warehouse and distribution centers a plus
Ability to travel at 50% including some weekends
